Who can avail of an MHC Home Loan?

Salaried and self-employed individuals fulfilling MHC conditions/requirements.

What are the documents required?

  • Proof of identity
    • Birth certificate, national identity card and marriage certificate or divorce certificate (if applicable) of the borrower and spouse and/or co-applicants/usufruct owners/guarantors and those holding rights in the property. 
  • Proof of income
    •  Salaried clients should produce 3 preceding salary slips and bank statements. 
    • Self-employed clients should produce their certificate of employment/BRN and 12 preceding bank statements. 
    • MRA Return
  • Other documents required
    • title deed of property 
    • memo of survey & site plan 
    • location plan 
    • development & building permits 
    • 1 copy of the plan of the house to be constructed 
    • proof of employment 
    • your last PEL receipt 
    • For clients working abroad: work permit & visa (5 years minimum)
  • Additional conditions
    • The client will be requested to contribute the equivalent of an instalment of one-month loan (six months for clients working abroad) in his/her PEL account, which will be locked over the loan period.
    • New clients will be required to make a minimum monthly contribution of Rs300 in his/her savings (PEL) account. This contribution will be locked and no withdrawal will be allowed until the loan is repaid in full with accessories.
