The procurement functions of the company rest on the Procurement Unit set up in 2009 following the enactment of the Public Procurement Act 2006 and coming into operation of the Public Procurement Regulations of 2008.
The Procurement Unit ensures that all procurements are conducted efficiently and effectively to, inter-alia, ensure value for money. In so doing, the Unit ensures that purchases are in line with the annual procurement plan or needs of the organization and match the required specifications, sourced at the right time and from the right place.
